In recent decades, our world has become increasingly polarized. On October 7, 2023, a new and terrifying chasm opened. The world witnessed the most deadly massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, and most people reacted in one of two ways. Some expressed horror and outrage against the terrorists who carried out these attacks, others celebrated the success of Hamas at taking revenge against what they saw as colonialist oppressors. This event exposed and exploited an existing trend of antisemitism and antizionism, particularly on the political left. Antizionists have weaponized liberal sympathy toward Palestinians against Jews worldwide, playing on ancient anti-Jewish stereotypes to rekindle the hate that nearly exterminated us in the Holocaust.
We – the makers of this website – are a small group of free-thinking American Jews who have watched in silent horror as our former allies, family members, and heroes swallowed and spread the lies and propaganda from social media, mainstream news and so-called “human rights” organizations captured by antizionism. We believe there is massive military, political, and psychological warfare being waged against Israel and Jews worldwide. We believe many news outlets and websites such as Wikipedia are complicit in this antizionist project.
This site is our attempt to address the overwhelming bias in global media against Israel and Jews. We seek to counteract the many libels against Jews that have permeated nearly every corner of the world. We hope this site will serve as a guide and reference to books, journals, articles, and social media with a pro-Jewish perspective.
You will find a range of voices here: historians, journalists, scholars, military experts and thinkers with a range of identities and perspectives, and who do not shy away from complexity or internal critique. What they share is a commitment to evidence, historical continuity, and intellectual honesty, especially in spaces where Jewish experience is routinely erased, inverted, or treated as an exception to every moral rule.
This is not a “recommended reading list” designed to tell you what to think. It is an invitation to engage more deeply with what is so often misrepresented or ignored. If you are looking to understand Jews and Judaism beyond caricature; Israel beyond headlines; or antisemitism beyond its most obvious expressions, these books provide some starting points.
We encourage readers to approach them with curiosity, patience, and a willingness to sit with discomfort. Truth usually requires all three.
We are not affiliated with any organization, nor do we wish to start one. We do not seek influence or income from these efforts. This is simply what we feel we must do in order to preserve our sanity and our sense of self-worth. Rather than engaging in pointless arguments online, we humbly offer these resources — not as experts but as Jewish fellow-travelers — as a way to combat the tsunami of global prejudice with voices that meaningfully and accurately inform, hoping it will enable more fact-based discourse, which in turn can create mutual understanding and pave the way for just and lasting peace in Israel and safety for Jews worldwide.
